Stanford Real Estate Hall of Fame - Inaugural Dinner (Los Angeles)
Event Description
Mr. Wilson is SPIRE’s 2011 inductee to the Stanford Real Estate Hall of Fame is for good reason: his business and personal ethics through a lifetime of leadership have set the bar at its highest level. The Bay Area real estate magazine, The Registry, put it well when it said of Mr. Wilson: “[he] cuts a singular path through Bay Area commercial real estate.”
What are some of the achievements on that path? More than seven million square feet of offices, most of it on the San Francisco peninsula, including the Oracle Inc. world headquarters in Redwood Shores; Foundry Square, The Gap Inc. headquarters and the Ferry Building renovation in San Francisco; 10 Almaden Blvd. in San Jose; the Pruneyard in Campbell; 48 Stockton St. in San Francisco; and the Franklin/Templeton Group campus in San Mateo.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Stanford University.
Mr. Koll, an inaugural inductee into the Stanford Real Estate Hall of Fame, has shaped Southern California like few others; to the extent that he is dubbed the “Orange County master builder” and a true visionary.
Koll is the man behind development of more than 72 million square feet of office, industrial retail and entertainment space, including the Koll Center South office project in Irvine and the eight-story 1900 Main St. building in Newport Beach. Koll built it into a name recognized worldwide, as it has developed or managed multi-tenant buildings, light industrial operations, and office space in California, Arizona, Washington, Nevada, Texas, Colorado, Utah and other states, the Mexican resort city of Cabo San Lucas and even a massive convention center in China.
Mr. Koll received his B.A. degree in Economics from Stanford University.
